There was no wind or surf today so decided to have a go at geocaching. We thought we'd try an easy one at first so after lunch in Peel we were so confident of finding it quickly that I even did it with my slippers on.

I put the co-ordinates into the GPS unit and set off to look for the cache. Anna and Morgan were with me. We ended up traisping through boggy ground, heather, bracken and gorse and over land completely unsuitable for a pushchair! Not far from the summit of South Barrule Anna gave up and sat down with Morgan leaving me to find the exact location on my own. I got to the exact location on the GPS but couldn't find anything so we headed back to the van.

Morgan fell asleep on the way back down so when I got to the van I decided to have a look at the GPS instructions.... Aha, there's more than one way to enter co-ordinates. So I tired again and this time found the cache without any problems at all... Although I did run all the way there and back so my legs paid the price for a few days.

Quite satisfying to actually find it though.
